Welcome to Rawson Elementary School
Rawson Elementary School, as well as the entire School District of South Milwaukee, is honored to have a staff of dedicated professionals prepared to work with your child. The work of our staff coupled with the commitment of our Rawson families and the support of our South Milwaukee community, allow us to fully educate a diverse student population and the next generation of South Milwaukee citizens!
Here at Rawson Elementary School, we educate roughly 400 students per school year. Our students enjoy a comprehensive academic program which is enhanced by supplemental academic opportunities. Through this programming we aim to meet rigorous expectations and support our students in achieving high academic goals.
Our day-to-day school experiences offer a variety of learning opportunities. We enjoy a diverse student population containing children of varied races and/or ethnicities (roughly 39%), students from low socioeconomic homes (roughly 64%), students who have a first language other than English (roughly 10%), and students who have identified special needs (roughly 15%). Each of our student populations bring an opportunity to learn about people different from ourselves which helps us develop knowledge and skills that are more important than ever in our community and world.
Thank you for being an essential part of our Rawson Wolf Family!
